Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, during a video conference held at Mantralaya on Friday, directed district collectors to prioritize expediting the Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan and establish good governance by promptly addressing citizens' issues. He emphasized fostering healthy competition among districts in the effective implementation of schemes. Dr. Yadav instructed officials to ensure that the target of maximizing beneficiary coverage under various schemes in the Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan is achieved by January 22.
Yadav said that the role of the district collectors in ensuring development works and public welfare is important. Prioritize better implementation of schemes for the welfare of the youth, farmers, women, and poor of the society.
Yadav said that the best implementation of work and public welfare programmes will establish the identity of the district collectors. Special achievements in some areas should also be publicized through social media and other means. This will inspire officers and everyone else in other districts to perform better.
Mohan Yadav emphasized on the importance of ensuring proper care for individuals staying in night shelters during the winter. He directed officials to regularly inspect these shelters and assess the arrangements. Additionally, he instructed Collectors to conduct surprise inspections of police stations and maintain close oversight of district events and activities. Dr. Yadav also stressed the need for continuous communication and engagement with public representatives. He encouraged organizing events in key service sectors that enhance the significance and development of the district.
The Chief Minister instructed the collectors to accelerate the Nikshay Campaign initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through special efforts against tuberculosis by identifying 347 districts of the country. The campaign will run till March 24. In the Nikshay Campaign, 23 districts have been identified in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 5 districts of the state Mandsaur, Narsinghpur, Mandla, Betul and Khandwa are at the top in the implementation of this campaign. Similarly, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Mandsaur, Anuppur, and Mandla are at the forefront of the distribution of food baskets to TB patients. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the collectors can also do various innovations to control TB.
The Health Director informed that quality has been ensured in the purchase of an X-ray machine in Mandsaur, in the pledge taken by public representatives in Sehore to take care of every TB patient, and in the registration and treatment of TB patients in Ujjain and Neemuch.
