The league phase of the 82nd All India Men's Railway Hockey Championship 2024-25 was successfully organized by South Eastern Railway Sports Association, Ranchi at Sersa Astroturf Hockey Stadium, Hatia from 17 February 2025 to 22 February 2025 under the able leadership and guidance of Divisional Railway Manager cum President South Eastern Railway Sports Association, Ranchi, Jasmeet Singh Bindra.

On the last day of the league phase of the championship, three matches were played at the Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Hatia. The first match was played between Integral Coach Factory, Chennai and North Western Railway, Rajasthan, in which the team of Integral Coach Factory, Chennai won by a margin of 9-3 goals.

In the second match, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala defeated East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar by 4-3 goals.

Today's third and the final match of the league stage of the championship was played between host South Eastern Railway and Central Railway, Mumbai. Before the match, DRM Bindra introduced himself to the players of both the teams and wished them good luck for the match. In this exciting match, South Eastern Railway emerged victorious by defeating Central Railway, Mumbai by a margin of 4-2 goals.

As a result of the completion of this league stage, the teams of South Eastern Railway, Central Railway, Mumbai, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and North Central Railway, Prayagraj have qualified for the next stage of the championship.

After the last match of the league stage, the closing ceremony of the 82nd All India Men's Railway Hockey Championship 2024-25 (League Stage) was organized in the presence of DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra. In the closing ceremony, the DRM congratulated the officers of the division and the team of Sersa, Ranchi for the successful organization of the championship and announced the award for Sersa, Ranchi.

After this, the Tournament Director Shri Inderpal Singh and his team were felicitated by the Divisional Railway Manager for the successful conduct of the championship.

On this occasion, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti) Girish Kumar, ACMS Dr. Brajesh Sahu, Sr DPO Raja, DSC Pawan Kumar, PS to DRM, (Gazetted) cum ADSO Ashutosh Kumar Sinha, other officers of the division, Secretary of Sersa Ranchi Om Prakash Thakur and a large number of sports loving spectators were present in the hockey stadium.
