In a significant step towards enhancing the beauty and security of Mukteshwar Dham Harina Mandir, MLA Sanjib Sardar laid the foundation stone for the installation of 52 street lights within the temple premises. The initiative is part of his continued commitment to the beautification and development of religious places in the Potka assembly constituency.
Speaking at the event, Sanjib Sardar emphasized, “Mukteshwar Dham is the center of faith for our area. The development of religious places is our priority, and we are constantly working towards it. This project will not only beautify the temple complex but also provide good lighting for devotees even at night.”
The beautification project, approved by the Sports Branch Department of the Jharkhand Government on the recommendation of the MLA, is set to be completed at a cost of ₹ 24.86 lakh. The installation of street lights aims to enhance the safety and convenience of visitors, ensuring adequate illumination in the temple complex and surrounding areas.
Local residents and devotees welcomed this initiative, appreciating the MLA’s efforts to improve public amenities and beautify the religious site. The ceremony was attended by prominent community members, including Mukhiya Saraswati Murmu, Pujari Bajrankan Dandapat, and several local leaders and villagers.
This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to the development of religious places and public facilities, further strengthening community bonds and enhancing the spiritual ambiance of Mukteshwar Dham.
