A two-day seminar concluded at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi. In this seminar, there was an in-depth discussion on issues related to business, economy and law of Jharkhand. During the seminar, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between Bennett University, New Delhi and NUSRL. Students of many law colleges participated in this program.
Jharkhand High Court Judge Justice Deepak Roshan participated in the closing session of the seminar. He said that it was very interesting to see how law and business can work together. He also talked about principles like 'Lex Economics' (Law and Economy) and the important role of the legal framework in the formation of policies.
University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ashok R. Patil emphasized the importance of cooperation between different departments on legal issues. He said that the university is engaged in the development of the state and looking for new opportunities for the students. The main objective of this seminar was to strengthen the economy of Jharkhand, create a better environment for business and consider the upcoming challenges.
In the first session of the seminar, the synergy between business, economy and law of Jharkhand was discussed. Issues such as Jharkhand's industrial capacity, prospects of steel and mineral industry, market demand, digital infrastructure, innovation, financial and legal reforms, and investment in renewable energy were discussed in detail. A consensus was reached on adopting a holistic and inclusive approach for the economic reform of Jharkhand.
Indian Chamber of Commerce President Amritanshu Prasad, Dr. Sanjeev Shekhar of Adani Group, and many experts from the world of law and education participated in this discussion. At the end of the program, certificates were given to all the participants. Dr. Mrityunjay Mayank gave the vote of thanks.
