A successful Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 01/2025) was administered by the Indian Air Force (IAF) throughout India between 22 and 23 February 2025 at different exam centers. The national-level exam sought to choose qualified candidates who wanted to serve in either the Flying Branch or Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches. The testing schedule was divided into two sessions that ran throughout the examination days.
The recruiting test absorbed 336 candidates for several different divisions. The Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer position candidates took part in the computer-based examination. The AFCAT 01/2025 Result will become available to candidates during March 2025. The candidates can access their results through the online system by using their registered credentials after official announcement.
Result Preparation Process
Otherwise the result needs to undergo multiple steps before completion for proper accuracy. After the provisional answer key gets released candidates acquire an opportunity to file objections against it. Once all objections get resolved the complete answer key becomes available to the public. The examination results proceed from evaluation of response sheets according to the final key while normalization enables assessment of variants in difficulty level. The Indian Air Force creates the merit list through score normalization after evaluating the candidates based on their scores. The selection board invites all candidates who satisfy the minimum AFSB interview criteria.
Expected Cut-Off Marks
Yearly cut-off marks undergo modifications based on the candidate turnout combined with assessment of exam difficulty and vacancies available. The examination authority bases the decision on past performance trends together with the actual level of exam difficulty experienced during the current year. Impact on the AFCAT cut-off occurred only as a result of competition levels in the exam during various years. Based on the intermediate exam difficulty level this year coupled with abundant participant numbers the cut-off marks should remain typical.
