Guru Nanak Dev University organises awareness camp for mental health and drug abuse
Amritsar: Under the visionary leadership of Professor (Dr) Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, the Department of Psychology successfully organised a “Mental Health and Nasha Mukt Samaaj Layi Jaagrookta Camp” in Ranghadh village, District Amritsar. This initiative was a significant step towards promoting mental health awareness and combating substance abuse in rural Punjab.
Theatre Festival inaugurated in university
Amritsar: Vice Chancellor Professor Karamjeet Singh inaugurated fourth annual 4-day Drama Festival of Guru Nanak Dev University. The first play, “Natak Paedan,” was performed by the university’s Drama Club and Awaaz Rangmanch Toli at the Dashmesh Auditorium.

Art exhibition ‘Guru Nanak Prawh: Gyan Da Prakash’ organised at University
Amritsar: Guru Nanak Dev University organised an art exhibition called “Guru Nanak Prawh: Gyan Da Prakash,” which means “The Flow of Guru Nanak: Light of Knowledge.” It was part of a bigger event called “Rebooting Punjab,” and it was organised in association with Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi and the Punjab Kala Parishad.
