Chief Election Commissioner K. Ravi Kumar has said that the election process has been completed. As soon as the Election Commission of India's direction is received, the Model Code of Conduct will be declared ineffective in Jharkhand.

He said that compared to the last two Lok Sabha elections, this time the least number of Model Code of Conduct violation cases have been registered. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, 318 cases of Model Code of Conduct violations were registered. At the same time, this number was 193 in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, this number has been only 101.

He said that all this has been possible due to awareness campaigns and the positive role of the media. He said that in future elections, efforts will be made to keep the cases of Model Code of Conduct violations to a minimum. He was interacting with media representatives after the completion of the election process at Nirvachan Sadan, Dhurva on Wednesday.

He expressed satisfaction that the elections were conducted in a fair, fear-free and peaceful manner. He also thanked all the officials, workers, policemen, security forces from outside, voters, all political parties, candidates and media persons involved in the election work who were involved in making it a success. He said that the media has been very helpful in taking every message of the Election Commission to each house.

He said that the assembly wise voting data has been made public under Form 20. He said that during the entire election no violent incident took place anywhere in the state. The most satisfying thing was that even the Naxalite incidents were zero in this election.
