Youth to oust Hemant Government: Sudesh Mahto

Monday, 09 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

The Hemant Government has failed on the parameters of policy, intention and credibility. The time has come to oust this useless Government from power. Youth should keep moving forward with this resolve, said AJSU party president Sudesh Mahato.

Mahto said these things in the Jharkhand Navnirman Sankalp Sabha organized by Yuva AJSU at Prabhat Tara Ground in Ranchi on Sunday. Thousands of educated unemployed youth from across the State joined the meeting and demanded an account of the Government's broken promises.

Mahato said that policy, intention and credibility are required to create the Jharkhand of the dreams of the martyrs. "The current Government has failed on these three parameters. Our youth are on the streets. The youth are demanding employment. They have BA degree, they have MA degree. They have engineering degree, polytechnic degree, every necessary degree but they do not have a job degree. And this is the degree the government had to give," he said.

The party president said that the State Government had promised unemployment allowance to the youth. If they had worked on their promise, every youth would have received Rs 4.20 lakh today. The Hemant Government has not only looted the State, the land and the mines, but they have also looted Rs 4.20 lakh of every youth, he said.

The AJSU chief said that the Government had promised to give a stove allowance of Rs 2,000, but now when the elections have come, they are giving an election allowance of Rs 1,000. "If the Government had given every woman a stove allowance at the rate of Rs 2,000 per month as per its promise, then every woman would have received Rs 1,20,000 in the last 5 years. They are not giving Rs 1,000 as allowance to women, but have usurped Rs 1,20,000 of every woman. Women should demand this amount from the Hemant Government," he said.

On the occasion, Central Senior Vice President and Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Chaudhary addressed the youth and said that the Government is organizing the Government Aapke Dwar programme for the fourth time. "Till date not even a single application has been processed. If it had been done, they would not have needed to hold this program for the fourth time. Today thousands of youths who came here took a pledge to remove this uselessGgovernment from power and we will all work together to fulfill it," he said.

The party's central principal general secretary Ramchandra Sahis said that the youth have the ability to change the direction and condition of the state. The Government has reneged on its promises. This useless Government cannot be trusted.

On this occasion, general secretary and MLA Lambodar Mahato, general secretary and MLA Sunita Chaudhary, vice president Umakant Rajak, Kushwaha Shivpujan Mehta, chief spokesperson Dr. Devsharan Bhagat, Hasan Ansari, Rajendra Mehta, Banmali Mandal, Harish Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Amit Kumar of Yuva AJSU, Gautam Singh, Amit Mahato, Jabbar Ansari, Om Verma, Jyotsna Kerketta, Vishal Mahato, etc. were mainly present.
