Youth rapes girl by changing religious identity

Mangalwara police have booked a youth who sexually assaulted a girl by posing himself with Hindu identity, by hiding his religion. The accused and the victim came to know about each other on Instagram. After meeting for the first time, the accused took photos with the girl.

Later, he molested her by threatening to defame her by making these photos viral.

On the girl's complaint, the Mangalwara police has registered a case. The police have taken the accused into custody. As soon as the information spread Bajrang Dal activists created a ruckus outside the police station. After he was taken into custody, they tried to assault the accused.

The police said that the 19-year-old girl is originally from Vidisha district. She is studying B.Com from a private college while living in Bhopal. Recently, she became friends with the victim on Instagram. The accused told his name as Ashu and his Insta profile is also with the same name, but his original name is Asgar. On August 8, the accused called the victim to meet him at Peoples Mall while roaming here, the accused took some pictures with the victim.

On August 15 was the accused's birthday. He called the girl to meet him in the name of a party. Took her to a hotel near Bhopal station. There Asgar Khan alias Ashu intimidated the victim and raped her. On protesting, the accused threatened to defame her by making her personal photos viral. Not only this, on complaining to the police, the accused threatened to kill the girl.

On Saturday, the victim reached Mangalwara police station. There she filed a complaint against the accused. The police registered a case on the girl's complaint. The accused was taken into custody. He was being brought to the police station by Dial 100, when the workers tried to beat up the accused. With great difficulty the police saved the accused and took him to the police station.
