Nishatpura police have arrested a youth who was booked for sexual assault, abetment to commit suicide of a minor girl, victim was harassed by the accused and sexually assaulted several times by threatening her.

In the case of a school girl committing suicide by hanging in Nishatpura area, the police have registered a case of rape, POCSO and forcing her to commit suicide against her classmate, the accused has been arrested.

The police have produced him in court and sent him to jail. After twenty days of investigation, the police have registered an FIR in the case.

The police said that the school girl lives in the Nishatpura area. A young man named Karan used to study in the same school where she studied. They became friends and two years ago the boy took the girl to a hotel on the pretext of taking her for a walk where he raped the girl by luring her.

After this, he had physical relations with the minor girl several times. After some time, when the families of both came to know about their relationship, the girl's family sent the girl to another city for studies.

Meanwhile, the boy's family also sent him to Rajasthan. Even after this, the boy did not stop following the girl. He kept trying to make contact with her. He even started going to the city where the girl was sent to meet her. Frustrated, the girl told the whole thing to her family. After this, the family called her back to Bhopal.

Frustrated by the disgrace in the family and constant stalking by the boy, the girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling in her house on August 14. The police had registered a case and investigated. After the investigation was completed, a case of rape, POCSO and forcing a girl to commit suicide has been registered against a boy named Karan.
