Newly elected Dhanbad MP Dhulu Mahto on Wednesday said that his priority would be to raise issues relating to his constituency on priority basis in parliament.
In his first official press conference after receiving certificate of being elected, Dhallu said issues like disacement, water crisis, issues of livelihood of residents of coal bearing areas, rehabilitation of fire hit persons road, airport and AIIMS all would be placed before the government.
On being asked that two airports in close vicinity be economically viable, Mahto said its different outlook.
Mahto added works started during the period of outgoing MP PN Singh would be given priority.
On shortage of teachers at Binod Bihari Mahato Koylaanchal University, he said, " I would talk with the Governor on this issue ".
He lambuste JMM led state government for delaying financial assistance to piped water supply from Maithon to Dhanbad.
He, however, added that BCCL has the responsibility of supplying water to coal bearing areas of Dhanbad and on this issue he has talked with CMD. BCCL would have to provide water to people.
He also thanked people for supporting him by voting in order to strengthen the hands of the prime minister.
