Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that with the support of sisters, the state will reach new heights of development. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India is swiftly advancing towards becoming the third-largest economy globally. Prime Minister Modi has championed the empowerment of women, including the continued provision of 50 percent reservation for women in Panchayat and local body elections, ensuring the presence of strong female leaders. Dr. Yadav also emphasized his commitment to leaving no stone unturned in the development of Ujjain.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Ladli Behna Rakshabandhan programme in the Lekoda village of Ujjain. In the programme, the sisters tied Raksha Sutra on the wrist of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The sisters blessed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by presenting him with a huge Rakhi. The Chief Minister gave away gifts to all the sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the programme with Kanya Pujan and lit the lamp.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to enhancing the lives of sisters. In addition to the monthly deposit of Rs 1250 into the Ladli Behnas' accounts, an extra Rs 250 has been transferred as a Rakshabandhan gift. At the event, all the sisters raised their hands to confirm that the amount had been credited to their accounts. The Ladli Behnas showed their appreciation by holding placards that read “Mere Pyare Bhaiya Likhi” during the programme.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that our villages truly exemplify the value of relationships. The tradition of the Teej festival remains vibrant in these communities, teaching the world how to honor and respect our sisters. He noted that family traditions bring us divine blessings through our parents and sisters, making the seemingly impossible achievable. Dr. Yadav also highlighted that while nations around the world are named after their fathers, our country reveres Bharat Mata and Mother Earth, showcasing the profound essence of Maatru Sanskriti.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while mentioning the importance of Avantika city, said that Avantika city exists in every era, which never ends. It was in Sandipani Ashram of Ujjain that Lord Krishna and Balram came to acquire education 5 thousand years ago. He said that the tradition of Teej festivals in India is wonderful. The state government will celebrate all the festivals with enthusiasm by uniting the society. The festival of Janmashtami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in the entire state. The grandeur and joy of Baba Mahakal ki Sawari is continuously increasing through activities like presentations of tribal artists and police bands, damru, etc. On the day of Rakshabandhan, a performance will be given by the CRPF band in the Baba Mahakal ki Sawari. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the fitness center of Avantika Mahavidyalaya and also planted saplings on the college campus under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
