Xaviers Institute of Technical Education (XITE) Gamharia hosted a crucial training session titled "Farishtey - Accident First Responders," aimed at bolstering road safety and emergency response capabilities among students. Organized by CII Yi XITE and CII Yi Yuva Jamshedpur Chapter Road Safety Vertical in collaboration with EMRI Green Health Services, the session focused on equipping participants with life-saving skills.
The training, held at the college conference hall, drew enthusiastic participation from over 55 students eager to enhance their readiness to respond effectively in accident scenarios. Leading the session were esteemed trainers Dr. Pankaj Sachan, Senior Clinical Educator from Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) Hyderabad, and Akash, an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician from EMRI Hyderabad. Their expertise in emergency management provided invaluable guidance to the students through various aspects of accident response.
The presence of Shruti Jhujhunwala, Chair of the Road Safety Vertical, Yi Yuva Jamshedpur Chapter, alongside Sakshi Gupta, Co-Chair, and Anupama Gupta, highlighted the initiative's significance in promoting road safety and community well-being.
The training underscored not only technical proficiency but also the critical mindset required to act swiftly and decisively during emergencies. Dr. Pankaj Sachan and Akash emphasized quick assessment, first aid administration, and ensuring victim safety until professional help arrives. Interactive sessions and practical demonstrations made the training engaging and impactful.
Shruti Jhujhunwala and the organizing team, including Ashish Singh, Nodal Officer of CII Yi XITE, played pivotal roles in planning and executing the session, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience for all participants.
