Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has experienced significant progress in recent years. The ongoing Vikas Yatra aims to fully realize a prosperous, literate, healthy, and happy Madhya Pradesh. The state government is committed to advancing this mission, focusing intensively on the development and welfare of youth, women, the poor, and farmers.
To boost industrial growth and investment, a series of Regional Investment Summits are being held to attract new industrial units to the state. Madhya Pradesh's appealing features and robust facilities have drawn interest from renowned industrialists, who are now signing MoUs with the state government. These investments and industries will generate local employment opportunities, empowering youth and steering them toward self-reliance.
On Independence Day, Yadav emphasized the crucial role of youth in realizing the vision of Vikasit Bharat-2047. He asserted that the country’s progress hinges on the determination, hard work, and innovative thinking of its younger generation. The forthcoming Yuva Shakti Mission is a pledge to secure a promising and robust future for the youth.
In alignment with this vision, the state government has invested Rs 485 crore to equip young people with education in cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and coding. Additionally, new subjects like Bio-Technology and Computer Science have been introduced at the PM College of Excellence across 55 districts, along with 35 new professional courses added to the curriculum.
The Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana has been launched to boost youth skills and improve business opportunities through enhanced internships. Under this initiative, Rs 6.6 crore in stipends has been allocated to 8,000 selected trainees. The establishment of 22 new ITIs across the state will add 5,280 new seats, while Green Skilling ITIs in Dewas, Chhindwara, and Dhar will offer specialized courses in Solar Technology and Electric Vehicle Mechanics.
Additionally, incubation centers at six universities are established fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, with financial support for startups ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. These measures aim to stimulate innovation among youth, align employment with current industrial needs, and open new avenues in entrepreneurship.
Chief Minister Yadav stated that true development in the state remains unfinished until the welfare of the most disadvantaged members of society is achieved. The Garib Kalyan Mission is dedicated to transforming the lives of youth from poor and marginalized communities. This mission focuses on empowering and uplifting the most deprived sections of society, addressing their needs through social security schemes, housing, education, and healthcare. The goal is to break the cycle of poverty and ensure a dignified and secure life for the underprivileged.
Yadav announced the completion of 7 lakh houses in rural areas and 7.51 lakh houses in urban areas under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, aimed at providing basic facilities to the poor. In the 2023-24 period, the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana and Nikah Sahayata Yojana supported the marriage of 62,583 girls. Additionally, a monthly stipend of Rs 600 is provided to senior citizens, differently-abled individuals, destitute persons, and Kalyani Behnas. Last year, over 66,000 artificial limbs valued at Rs 43.8 crore were fitted for 34,000 disabled individuals. Efforts are being made with utmost dedication to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes for the poor.
The Chief Minister affirmed the state government's commitment to the comprehensive empowerment of women.
