Kolar police have arrested a vehicle lifter who used stealing of vehicles with the help of two minor boys; accused has been over 17 crimes in different police stations of the city, police have recovered 1 stolen motorcycle and scooter worth Rs. 3 lakhs.

After receiving information Kolar police team tracked two boys are with a metallic black colour Bullet motorcycle which was not having front and back registration number plates. The police team reached the spot to verify the information and when police team questioned the two were found to be minors of 14 and 16 years of age. When they were questioned about the said vehicle, they started telling different things at times and when they were asked for the vehicle papers, they said that it was at home. Later, the engine number and chassis number of the said motorcycle were checked. J3A5FCR2031055 and chassis number CE3J3A5FCR2005070 was found in the said vehicle which was found to be the stolen motorcycle Royal Enfield No. MP04ZX8448 and it was stolen from Kolar.

The two had stolen the Bullet motorcycle from the parking lot of JK Town Kolar 02 days ago at around 04:00 am.

A person named Tarun was going to give us good money by selling the stolen Bullet motorcycle. He had called us to Salaiya today with the Bullet motorcycle. We were going to Salaiya via JK with it and on the way we were pushing the motorcycle as the petrol got over. We have broken the number plate of the car and thrown it away. On their information the number plate of the motorcycle was recovered.

On the information of the two minors, accused Tarun Parchey  25   Salaiya Sankhedi Kolar  was caught who accepted his crime on interrogation.

He confessed stealing a yellow colour Honda Dio car from Nehru Nagar 10 days ago which is with me at home. Later, with the help of the accompanying staff, the accused Tarun along with the witnesses left and reached the house of the accused Tarun. When the accused Tarun was brought out of the house, a Honda Dio car was found which was not having registration number plates at the front and back, whose engine numbers were JF39E72166029 and ME4JF39DBJ7109209.

The accused Tarun Parche has a criminal record in the past as well.
