Vedanta ESL Steel Limited honored 33 talented youth from Chas and Chandankiyari blocks during a felicitation ceremony at its Archery Academy in Siyaljori. The event recognized achievements in education, skilling, and sports, showcasing the impact of the company’s CSR initiatives.
Under Project PRERNA and AAS Vidyalaya, students excelling in state-level exams and Class X toppers were celebrated. Two trainees from the Vedanta ESL Skill School were acknowledged for excelling in the Solar PV Installer course, known for its high placement rate. Six archers, including 13-year-old Kritika Kumari, who won silver at the All India School Championship, were applauded for their national-level achievements.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries and senior management, with COO Ravish Sharma reaffirming Vedanta ESL’s commitment to empowering communities and nurturing local talent.
Vedanta ESL operates a 2.5 MTPA integrated steel plant in Bokaro, producing world-class steel products while driving socioeconomic development in its surrounding communities.
