All Deans, Head of Departments and staff expressed gratitude to Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) Vice Chancellor (VC), Suman Catherine Kispotta for providing 1.69 acre land to the university.
During the meeting Kispotta said that ever since she became the Vice Chancellor, she wanted to do something special for the university. “The university has received 1.69 acres of land. This has given me satisfaction. If the documents related to other lands are processed as soon as possible, then the university can get more land,” she added.
The VC was presiding over the meeting of the Deans and Heads of Departments in the Samrat Ashok Administrative Building of VBU.
In the meeting, proposals were passed to improve many arrangements related to teaching and examination. Decisions were also taken on some important reforms to make research more transparent and reliable.
A proposal was taken in the meeting that two toppers of postgraduate of 2024 and one topper each of DEET examination subject wise will be appointed soon. The department heads requested to post them in postgraduate departments as per the rules. It was also decided that the process of appointment of teachers on contract basis will be completed soon as per the requirement. The Registrar told the House that the process has been started in this regard. Such teachers will be appointed against the vacancies.
