Representatives of the Alumni Association paid a formal visit to the newly appointed Vice Chancellor (VC) of Vinoba Bhave University (VBU), Dr Pawan Kumar Poddar on Monday. On this occasion, the members of the organization welcomed him by presenting a bouquet and discussed in detail various issues related to the alumni of the university. During the meeting, Poddar described the role of the Alumni Association as commendable and said that this organization provides a common platform to the alumni of the university. He said that the cooperation of the alumni can play an important role in the progress of the university.
The Vice Chancellor suggested that a comprehensive meeting of all the alumni should be organized, so that the participation of maximum pass-out students can be ensured. On this occasion, Alumni Association President Dr Mohammad Mansoor Alam Fakhri, Secretary Dr Sunny Kumar Mehta, Vice President Dr Amita Kumari, Treasurer Prabhat Pradhan, Joint Secretary Jaya Sinha, Media Incharge Mohammad Fazal, Anima, Mukesh Ram Prajapati and Bhairav Anand were present.
