Bokaro Steel Plant's Director-in-Charge, B.K. Tiwari, inaugurated the "Urja Sthal Park" near the PPC Building within the plant premises on August 26th. The park has been developed by the Energy Management Department. The event was graced by the presence of Executive Director (Projects, Additional Charge MM), C.R. Mahapatra, Executive Director (HR, Additional Charge Works), Rajan Prasad, and other senior officials.

A key highlight of the park is the "Open Gym," constructed using internal resources. This facility allows employees to not only spend time in the serene natural surroundings, easing workplace stress, but also to engage in exercise during their leisure time to maintain fitness. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, encouraging employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise. Additionally, the park features the national flag, along with the preamble of the Indian Constitution displayed nearby.

This park represents another step in the ongoing efforts to enhance the workplace environment. The Director-in-Charge congratulated the entire Energy Management Department team for this commendable initiative and urged everyone to continue striving for the betterment of the plant.
