A one-day seminar on Urdu language was organized on Sunday in the premises of Nawadih Madrasa Al Jamatul Ataiya Talimi Mission of Kisko block under Lohardaga district. In which mainly Minority Commission member Waris Qureshi was present. While the program was launched by Haji Shakeel Ahmed, official of Urdu Vikas Manch Jharkhand, as the inauguator. On the occasion, Haji Shakeel Ahmed said that Urdu is the second state language. Urdu is quite simple. Everyone should use it. Said that both Hindi and Urdu are two sisters of the same mother. When these two languages are used together in writing, the writing becomes quite effective. Said that there is a need to take special initiatives at the administrative level for the development of Urdu. He demanded appointment of regular Urdu teachers in all schools. In the program, certificates were distributed among 83 successful students of the Diploma Course session 2021-22 of the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language under the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi, Government of India. During the programme, emphasis was laid on promoting Urdu language.
While the chief guest, Minority Commission member Waris Qureshi highly appreciated the Urdu Diploma being conducted under the National Urdu Language Development Council. Also assured to provide every possible assistance from the Commission. Apart from this, he talked about promoting Urdu language by organizing competitions and various programs on Urdu subject. The same program was conducted by Enamul Ansari and the closing announcement was made by Mehbulla Ansari.
