Unseasonal rains disrupt normal life in MP

Abrupt rainfall has disrupt normal life and caused damaged at several places in the state; even after five days of departure monsoon, light rainfall and thundershowers have been reported in the past 24 hours.

On Saturday, heavy rain occurred in many districts including Khargone, Dhar, Pandhurna, Ratlam, Indore and similar weather were witnessed on Sunday. Light rain and thundershowers will remain in 18 districts including Indore, Jabalpur and weather conditions are likely to remain for the next 2 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the trough is active over the Arabian Sea. At the same time, two cyclonic circulation systems are also active and their effect is being seen in many districts of the state. Especially in the southern districts, it has been raining for the last 3 days.

There will be a change in the weather here in next 24 hours

Thunderstorms will continue in Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Barwani, Indore, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Narmadapuram, Betul, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat during the next 24 hours. The weather will remain clear in many districts including Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior.

Thunderstorms is likely to occur in Indore on October 21. The weather is expected to remain clear in the entire state including Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain.

According to the Meteorological Department, one and a half inches of rainfall was recorded in Khargone while Betul, Khandwa and Pandhurna districts also witnessed light rain.

Many villages including Badnawar of Dhar received rain on Saturday. The effect of mild cold weather conditions have also been experienced in the districts of the southern parts of Madhya Pradesh.

The night temperature in Jabalpur, Mandla, Nowgong, Rewa, Umaria, Tikamgarh, Gwalior, Pachmarhi, Rajgarh is less than 20 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Pachmarhi was recorded  around 18 degrees, day temperature in several areas remained below 30 degrees.
