Unauthorized constrictions from below high tension line removed

On the initiative of MP Transco (Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company) and with the cooperation of Municipal Corporation Indore, a remarkable work has been done to remove unauthorized and unsafe constructions built near and below the extra high tension lines in the city, so that the possibility of a widespread loss of life   has been  avoided.

A few days ago, in MP Transco's South Zone Indore - Mahalaxmi 132 KV line    two accidents had occurred due to  coming in contact with the extra high tension line,  in which two men and a woman were seriously affected. This extra high tension line passes through the residential area Idris Nagar, Musakhedi.

During patrolling of the extra high tension line, it came to notice that the   Some residents near     location no.  117 and 118 had built boundary walls and other constructions very close to the roof of their houses. These accidents occurred due to the   residents are  coming into the induction zone    of 132 KV  extra high tension line.

The said accident occurred due to non-removal of hazardous construction despite warning and notice.   A few days ago, some unauthorized constructions located at these locations in Indore, which had become a threat to human life, were removed and yesterday, more than half a dozen constructions located near these locations 102 and 103 were also demolished by the residents themselves, considering them a danger. However, the concerned In the past too, notices had been given to the landlords, warning them about the danger.

Indore based M.P. Transco's Superintending Engineer Rajeev Aggarwal, Neelam Khanna and Pradeep Raghav met District Collector Ashish Singh and informed him about the possibility of serious accidents due to these and other unsafe construction works near the extra high tension line in Indore. MP Transco officials had requested them to immediately remove these dangerous constructions for to safe the human life in Indore city, acting on which, in the presence of the Municipal Corporation administration, the landlords got these dangerous and hazardous constructions demolished. .

MP. Transco Chief Engineer Sandeep Gaikwad said that through loud speakers, personal contacts and meetings, they have informed the citizens through visual clips near/below the extra high tension line not to carry out construction work which is unsafe and risky for human life in Indore. Warned about the dangers of such construction and advised not to do such construction.

This campaign of  MP Transco to alert the citizens about the constructions built near the Extra Hightension Line which are unsafe for human life and to remove them, will continue in other places of Madhya Pradesh including Indore.
