Ulama Board calls to boycott Bollywood movie

Thursday, 22 August 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

The All India Ulama Board  on Wednesday alleged that actors who believe in Islam have also started adopting non-Islamic methods, Muslims should be careful.

While talking to media persons, here on Wedneday, State President of All India Ulama Board Qazi Syed Anas Ali Nadvi said that Islam is a holy religion, in which only and only natural love has been talked about, the way the characters shown in the film ‘Alia Basu Gayab Hai’, which is a reprehensible and un-Islamic, such characters are completely un-Islamic.

He further said that nature has created men and women to fulfill physical desires. But in the film ‘Alia Basu Gayab Hai’, Bollywood actor Vinay Pathak and a Muslim actor Salim Diwan have been shown acting as gay and bisexual with each other, which is haram for a Muslim. If Muslim actors do such roles in films, then they are not thinking at all about the direction in which they are taking the Muslim society, this is a matter of great shame.

All India Ulama Board strongly opposes such Muslim actors who adopt wrong methods with a man. Islam only and only allows one to fulfill physical desires with his wife. Such actors should be given strict punishment for adopting un-Islamic methods. We appeal to the people of the society to boycott the film Alia Basu Gayab Hai and do not go to watch it at all and do not let anyone go, this film will create wrong beliefs among the people of the society, along with this, wrong evils will be revived, he added.

Actor Salim Diwan has been surrounded by controversy after the press conference of All India Ulama Board. No reaction has come from Salim Diwan in this regard so far.
