Train services hit due to developmental works

In light of ongoing developmental works in the Kharagpur Division, the Indian Railways has announced a series of train cancellations, short terminations, short originations, and diversions. These changes, effective from June 3 to June 9, 2024, aim to facilitate essential infrastructure upgrades and ensure the safety and efficiency of the rail network.

Train Cancellations: 18023/18024 Kharagpur-NSCB Gomoh-Kharagpur Express: Cancelled from June 4 to June 6, 2024. 12885/12886 Shalimar-Bhojudih-Shalimar Express: Cancelled from June 4 to June 6, 2024. 22330/22329 Asansol-Haldia-Asansol Express: Cancelled on June 5 and June 6, 2024. 08685/08686 Kharagpur-Adra-Kharagpur MEMU: Cancelled on June 5, 2024.

Short Termination of Trains at Kharagpur: Howrah-Midnapore EMU Locals: Trains 38807, 38809, 38811, 38813, 38815, 38817, 38823, 38825, 38829, 38831 will be terminated at Kharagpur from June 4 to June 9, 2024 (with some variations on specific dates).

Short Termination of Train at Godapiasal: 08680 Adra-Midnapore MEMU Special: Terminated at Godapiasal from June 3 to June 7, 2024. Short Origination of Trains at Kharagpur: Midnapore-Howrah EMU Locals: Trains 38814, 38816, 38818, 38820, 38822, 38824, 38830, 38802, 38804, 38808 will originate from Kharagpur instead of Midnapore from June 4 to June 9, 2024 (with some variations on specific dates).

Short Origin of Train from Godapiasal: 08680 Midnapore-Adra MEMU Special: Originates from Godapiasal instead of Midnapore from June 3 to June 7, 2024.

Diversion of Trains: 18627 Howrah-Ranchi Express: Journey on June 4, 2024, will be diverted via Tatanagar-Purulia-Kotshila. 22611 MGR Chennai-New Jalpaiguri Express: Journey on June 5, 2024, will be diverted via Tatanagar-Asansol.
