A bus conductor was robbed by four miscreants at knife point while another was attacked after the accused boarded the bus at Galla Mandi, miscreants robbed Rs 11000 and escaped in an autorickshaw.

Three miscreants stopped the bus in the Jahangirabad area of Bhopal after obstructing its way. As soon as the accused entered the bus, they put a knife on the conductor's neck. The miscreants snatched the Rs 8000 kept in his pocket. After this, they sat in the bus. When another conductor boarded this bus from Galla Mandi, the accused stabbed him in the ear.

They snatched Rs 3000 kept in his pocket. Along with this, the miscreants also looted his mobile phone and fled. The assailants have also injured another conductor by stabbing him. In this case, the police have registered a case against three people including one named. They are being searched.

According to the police, Rajesh Lovanshi (45) of Mandideep district Raisen, works as a conductor in Rathore Travels bus plying between Mandideep-Bhopal. The bus came to Bhopal with passengers at around 10.30 pm on Saturday night.

Naseem alias Breaker, resident of Mother India Colony, parked a passenger auto in front of the bus near Barkhedi petrol pump. After stopping the bus, Naseem and his two companions boarded it. As soon as they came inside, Naseem and his companions beat Rajesh and put a knife on his neck.

The bus reached further till Galla Mandi, where it stopped, in which two youths named Mashkoor and Shahwar boarded. Both of them work as conductors in other buses. Spotting them, the accused started beating them, stabbed Mashkoor in the hand when he protested, and attacked Shahwar with a knife in his ear.

The accused snatched three thousand rupees in cash and mobile from these two. After this, they got down from the bus near Capital Petrol Pump. Their other companion was chasing them in an auto. Later they fled in the same auto. However, the police have seized the auto used in the robbery. According to sources, two suspects have been taken into custody and are being questioned.

Complainant Rajesh said that the accused have been robbing buses for the last several days. Due to the fear of them, no one complains. Naseem's gang often robs the blue bus running between Mandideep and Bhopal. He was recently released from jail. He was robbed on the second day of his release.

He said that he is still afraid that after complaining, he will definitely take revenge. He will attack again. Similarly, Mashkoor, who was injured in the attack by the accused, also refused to talk about the incident. He said that we have to travel on the bus on this route.
