Those entitled, should get benefit of schemes: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that those who are entitled to have benefits of various Government schemes must get them. They should not remain deprived. He was having virtual dialogue with beneficiaries from from Hatod village in Shivpuri district today.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated virtually from Ujjain in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's virtual dialogue with PMAY(G) beneficiaries under PM-JANAM. Prime Minister Modi virtually talked to Lalita Adivasi and Smt. Vidya Adivasi, beneficiaries of village Hatod in Shivpuri district.

Smt. Lalita informed the Prime Minister that her elder daughter studies in sixth class. She has got scholarship, school uniform and also has an account open in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Besides, she has also got benefit of Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. Her son, Dhruv, who is studying in class II, has got school uniform and benefit of mid-day meal at school. Little son is going to Anganwadi.

Lalita also informed Modi that she is associated with Sheetala Mata Self-Help Group, which has got the job of managing a cow shed. Prime Minister Modi praised Lalita for her prompt response.

Prime Minister Modi informed Smt. Lalita that soon she will be having her own house. The first installment was given to her today. Expressing her gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, Smt. Lalita thanked for all the care about tribal villages ensuring benefits of the schemes under Janman Yojana. Prime Minister Modi also encouraged the girls who presented cultural programmes.

Prime Minister Modi asked Smt. Lalita about how she got to know about on Janman Yojana and what benefits she received. Lalita informed that whe got information from the officials and the rally held in the village under the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

She had never thought of having her own house. Now her family would be happy.  She told that her father-in-law Krishna Adivasi got the benefit of KCC, and children are having Aadhar cards, caste certificate. The village had 310 Ayushman cards and 100 more have been made under Janman Yojana. All women in the village had Ujjwala gas connections, but through Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, new gas connections were also given. Ujjwala's connections have increased by 20 more in the village. The tap water scheme is also operative.

Prime Minister Modi inquired about the village development plan and praised her wisdom, presentation and leadership abilities. Lalita said that it is from the self-help group that she has received training in expressing herself properly.

Vidya informed Prime Minister Modi regarding village development. Vidya told that she runs Vaishno Devi Self-Help Group. Under the Pradhan Mantri-Janman Yojana, Aadhaar cards and caste certificates of children etc. have been made and sheds for cows and livestock have also been approved. She told that when she came to village Hatod after getting married, there were only mud houses. Today village is beautiful and well equipped. Smt. Vidya told Prime Minister Modi through a model that the village has water tank, tap, electricity, paved road and community center, where the villagers install Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Utsav and celebrate the festivals.

She told that Ayushman card has been made. There was a time when it was difficult for ambulance to reach the village, now ambulance facility is easily available. This is a great relief to expectant mothers. On a call, Ambulance can be available. It has now become easier to take expectant mothers to Shivpuri.

Prime Minister Modi praised Smt. Vidya for her knowledge appreciating the village model and said that it will be known far and wide.
