Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal (A Regional Centre of National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi) inaugurated the Summer Nature Study Programme - Green Teen on the occasion of International Museum Day on May 18, 2024.
Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-C & Coordinatior welcomed all participants and detailed about all activities which would be organized during May 18 to June 05, 2024. After this, participants visited Herbal Garden, Vermi Compost Unit, Nature’s Network Gallery, Skeleton Gallery, Discover Centre, Wilderness in the Dark Gallery, Temporary Exhibition on Wonder World of Butterflies, Temporary Exhibition on Save Water-Save Life, Open Air Exhibits on Wetland, Traditional Conservation, Dinosaur with explanation by Museum Interpreter.
Museum also organized “Origami Workshop” for the participants of Summer Nature Study Programme – Green Cub. During the programme, Jalaj Kumar Verma, Subject Expert from Eklavya NGO, Bhopal and Scientist-C of the museum Manik Lal Gupta demonstrated to create nature oriented living things/animals likes frog, Sarus.
