The state-level teachers felicitation ceremony of the Directorate of Public Instructions is being organized on on 5th September on the occasion of Teacher's Day at the Golden Jubilee Hall of RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal. As many as 14 teachers will be honoured with state-level teachers awards and 2 teachers who were awarded the National Teachers Award-2023 last year will also be felicitated. Applications and nominations have been received from teachers and recommendations of the District Selection Committee and Divisional Selection Committee have been obtained for the State-Level Teachers Award. After this process, 8 teachers in classes 1 to 8 primary secondary category and 6 teachers in classes 9 to 12 higher secondary category have been selected by the state-level selection committee, thus a total of 14 teachers have been selected for the state-level teachers award. All these teachers will be given an honorarium of Rs 25,000, shawl, shriphal, and citation in the ceremony.
A block-level educational seminar will be organized by the School Education Department on ‘Use of Technology and Joyful Learning in the Perspective of New Education Policy-2020’ on the occasion of Teacher's Day. In this series, a seminar will be held on “Need and contribution of primary schools for elementary education” at the district level. In the seminar to be held at the state level, the topic “Need and importance of employment-oriented education in the Indian scenario” will be discussed. The School Education Department has instructed the District Education Officers to ensure maximum participation in these seminars. The seminar will be held on 4 September.
The first, second, and third position teachers selected from the state-level educational seminar by the state-level jury will also be honored in this program with a shawl, shriphal, citation and honorarium.
