State Congress committee officials meet Kharge

Under the leadership of the State Congress In-Charge, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, senior leaders including the State Congress President, Rajesh Thakur met All India Congress Committee President, Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday and apprised him of the current political situation in Jharkhand including the Lok Sabha elections.

In this sequence, Mir apprised Mallikarjun Kharge of the situation of each seat in the context of the Lok Sabha elections and discussed in detail. He said that compared to earlier, the party fought well in the elections but could not achieve the expected success. “We will do a detailed review of the reasons for victory and defeat and for this a review meeting has been called on June 12. In which the lost seats will be reviewed thoroughly from the bottom to the top level so that where we have made mistakes, the situations can be made favorable,” he added.

“With the results of the Lok Sabha, the organization has become active for the preparation of assembly elections in Jharkhand. Every effort is being made to strengthen the organization in Jharkhand and the organization will remain fully fit till the upcoming elections,” said Mir.

During the meeting, Thakur said that in this election, the public has led us and given us success and in future also we will struggle for better results.” The people of Jharkhand are completely with us and in these 5 years, the coalition government has tried to improve their standard of living by taking better decisions in the interest of the public despite adverse circumstances,” he added.

“We keep reviewing our manifesto from time to time so that we can implement the decisions in public interest as per the promises made in our manifesto and keep monitoring it. He said that our government has fulfilled the announcements like Sarna Dharma Code, OBC reservation, employment, loan waiver of farmers, implementation of old pension system, but some bills have been kept pending at the central government level, our struggle continues regarding this and we will go among the public with new and serious issues of Jharkhand,” said Thakur.

Among those who met, Pradeep Yadav MP, Kalicharan Munda, Sukhdev Bhagat, former State Congress president, Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, MLA, Irfan Ansari, Bhushan Bada, Ashok Chaudhary, Sultan Ahmed Minority Congress president, Manzoor Ahmed Ansari were also present.
