A 32-year-old software engineer died after his bike collided with a stray cattle sitting on the road in Kolar road on Saturday night.
In the accident, the young man suffered serious head injuries. He had a deep cut on his thigh due to the cattle's horn. Passersby took him to a nearby private hospital. Where he died during treatment at around 1.30 am. The police have registered a case and started an investigation in the matter.
The deceased was identified as Pratyush Tripathi (32), hailed from Mau, Uttar Pradesh. He was living in Sanjay Hostel located in Barkatullah University in Bhopal. He was living in Bhopal for three years. His uncle Bharat Tiwari said that Pratyush was working in a software company in the South for the last one year. Currently he was working from home.
He had gone to meet his friend living in Bairagarh Chichli on Saturday night. He was returning from there at around 11 pm. A cow was sitting on the Bairagarh Chichli main road. The nephew's bike collided with this cow. Due to which he suffered a head injury.
The horn of the cow hit his one leg, causing a deep wound on one of his legs. People present at the spot took him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
According to Bharat Tiwari, Pratyush got married 6 months ago in the village itself. He had left home saying that he was going to settle in Bhopal. After the settlement, he had told his family that he would also send his wife to Bhopal. After his death, the family is in shock. His wife has not been informed about her husband's death yet.
The police have found a dead cow at the spot. There are injuries on its body. The police suspect that Pratyush died after colliding with this cow. Later the cow also died. ASI Nand Kumar Mishra said that a case has been registered. The accident is being investigated.
