Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) organized Sagar Glory 2024 to celebrate the magnificent placements of SISTec students. The celebrations witnessed the presence of Rajendra Shukla, Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh as the Chief Guest for the day.
Shukla inaugurated Sagar Glory by lighting the Lamp in the presence of Sudhir Kumar Agrawal Chairman Sagar Group, Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal Managing Director Sagar Group, Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh Group Director SISTec, Dr D K. Rajoria Principal SISTec, Dr Manish Billore - Principal SISTec-R, Dr Kuldeep Ganju- Principal SIPTec, Dr Swati Saxena Vice Principal SISTec, Ms Prachi Shrivastava Head Corporate Relations, esteemed faculties of SISTec and parents of children. SISTec Glory 2024 is a platform to celebrate placements and extend boundaries of skilling beyond horizons embedded with digital interventions.
This year, SISTec witnessed 200 companies visiting the campus with 1150+ Job offers to its students with the highest package of 20 LPA to Monica Joshi by CISCO. SISTec also witnessed 8 Women Campus Drives with an average package of 4.5 LPA and 96% of its students getting placed through campus interviews. SISTec Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering Branch and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Branch witnessed 100% placements. SISTec Business School and SIPTec (Pharmacy) also registered 96% placement of its students. SISTec also witnessed 40% penetration in IT/Software companies, 22% in manufacturing-based companies, 12% in serviced companies, and 10% in telecom-based companies. CISCO, Ultratech, Autodesk, Renault Deloitte, TCS, Bridgestone, Polycab, eQ Technologic, Johnson Controls, Hexaware, SOBHA, Bajaj FinServ, Nielson IQ. Cipla, CG Power & Industrial Solutions Limited, TCS, Steel Strips Wheels Limited, Tulid Digital, Lenskart, etc. are some of the companies who visited this year for the core campus drives.
Rajendra Shukla presented placement certificates to top 225 students of SISTec who will be joining their companies in a short period. Motivating the students Shukla said, "Students must have composure and patience and express themselves with confidence. Students should continue with hard work and break the shell of their comfort zone. The three revolutions, the Industrial Revolution, the Green Revolution and Tourism will change the country's unemployment scenario. Government schemes of Startup India and Skill India are necessary steps in this direction to remove unemployment. You all have opportunities to serve the nation with the companies you are joining and I am confident that you will contribute to nation-building. Your success will bring pride to your parents and enhance the glory of our state and country." Sudhir Kumar Agrawal Chairman Sagar Group in his address directed students to work hard ahead and contribute to nation-building. He said, "There is no replacement for honesty and dedication. Always compete with yourself for healthy competition."
Siddharth Agrawal- Managing Director Sagar Group said "At SISTec, we have established Centers of Excellence with companies that impart consistent industry-based training and skilling specific to company requirements.
