Fostering the sharing of information between various districts through a common platform, a top state government official has invited district collectors to share encouraging innovations and best practices from their jurisdictions.
The Principal Secretary of the Planning, Economic and Statistics Department, Sanjay Kumar Shukla, has sent the missive in accordance with directives from the NITI Aayog, said the district administration in a brief issued to the media on Thursday.
Shukla said that NITI Aayog is providing a platform to promote innovations and best practices at the district level. A thematic seminar is also proposed for this purpose.He underlined that the identification of good governance and successful innovative practices is a key responsibility of the State NITI Aayog.
Shukla further mentioned that applications received from the districts will be selected based on their innovation outcomes, replicability, and scalability.
The collectors or officers at the district sub-secretary level of the selected districts will be invited to present at the seminar, or the best practices will be published.
All districts have been instructed to send in details of their best practices. The move aims to study and replicate these best practices in other districts of the state.
