In the wake of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday, security arrangements have been beefed up across the state.
Under this, security arrangements have been made alert in Bhopal also. Surveillance is being done through drones in sensitive areas. The police are conducting an intensive checking campaign and interrogating the suspects staying in hotels and lodges. Checking campaigns are also being conducted at railway stations and bus stands.
The activities of the entire district are being monitored from the control room. The most stringent security arrangements have been made on trains and railway stations. In these also, more attention is being given to those trains which are going towards Ayodhya. The Intelligence Branch of the Police Headquarters has alerted the Police Commissioners of Bhopal and Indore and the Superintendents of Police of the remaining districts.
Protests will not be allowed in Bhopal till January 27. Some states including Punjab have received information about anti-national activities, hence the police is taking special vigilance in the state till January 26.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of consecration of Ram temple to be held in Ayodhya on Monday, religious events are taking place at various places in the city, 11000 and women took out Kalash Yatra in Govindpura area and 108 blind disabled people recited Akhand Ramayana in the state BJP office.
