Scrap dealer sets afire his 22-year-old employee over monetary dispute

In a horrific incident a scrap dealer set ablaze his 22-year-old employee over monetory dispute in Piplani area late in the night on Monday.

A case of attempting to burn a youth alive has been reported in Piplani area. The complainant has accused the shop owner of attempting to kill him. The injured youth has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The police have registered case against the accused. The accused fled and is still absconding. The incident took place in front of the Satnami Nagar scrap shop at around 4 pm on Monday evening. The police are investigating the matter.

According to TI Anurag Lal, Rohit Yogi  lives in Satnami Nagar. He works in Guddu Khan's scrap shop. He had a transaction with the shop owner Guddu. There was an argument between the two on Monday regarding this matter. Rohit alleged that after the argument, the accused shop owner thrashed him and later poured petrol over him and set him ablaze.

The complainant told that the accused absconded left him burning. The people nearby somehow extinguished the fire and took him to the hospital. The young man is undergoing treatment in the hospital where his condition is reportedly critical.
