School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that the School Education Department has the responsibility of building the future of the state. Recognising its significance, a new education policy is being implemented in the state. School Education Minister Singh was addressing the "Panchjanya Sushasan Samvad Madhya Pradesh" held at the Lok Mata Ahilya Bai Holkar Tri-Centenary Jayanti Year Celebration at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre in Bhopal today.
School Education Minister Singh said that the state government has decided to start nursery in four and a half thousand government schools so that the foundation of children's education can be strengthened. These schools will be digital. He said that it is the state government’s endeavour that the infrastructure of government schools along with the quality of education is superior, so that the public's confidence in government schools is further strengthened. Discussing the new education policy, the School Education Minister said that it will be implemented with full commitment. He said that in order to make children aware of Indian culture, it has been decided to celebrate Janmashtami festival in schools and colleges. He said that the teachings of Lord Krishna are providing energy and inspiration to the society. The example of friendship he exemplified is still remembered with great reverence. School Education Minister Singh said that strict action will be taken against those educational institutions where activities against Indian culture will be conducted.
In this programme, Minister Singh said that today it has been realised that apart from English, other languages ??are also becoming more capable of providing employment. He said that the School Education Department has prepared a programme to teach Japanese and German languages ??to students from class 9. While discussing skill development, Minister Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a separate department of skill development has been created in the Centre. In accordance with his thinking, special attention is being paid to skill development in children in the state. After class 10, children are being counselled and informed about further studies in the right direction.
The School Education Minister said in the programme of Samvad that in schools which have more than 3 acres of land, children will be taught agriculture related activities. Through this education, children will be able to choose agriculture as profession with full confidence. He said that since ancient times agriculture has been considered the best among all professions. Children will be told about modern farming and new research.
