Sathiya conference organized by health department on National Youth Day

On the occasion of National Youth Day, a district level Sathiya conference was organized in the local Municipal Building.Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.The program started by presenting a welcome song and dance by the present Sathiya.Thereafter, short dramas were presented on various topics like the work and achievements done by Saathiya in the last two years, prevention of non-communicable diseases, menstrual hygiene management and prevention of increasing drug addiction among the youth.In her message, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the teenagers and their peers to become aware and do better work in the field of health.She said that the awareness work being done by Saathiya and School Health and Wellness Messenger in the fields of health and education, by connecting people with health related topics, has shown a positive role in bringing out better results.It is expected that better work will be done in the field of health. The civil surgeon present in the program gave a message to Sathiya to work diligently towards his duties in the field of health services.The Government is committed to providing the best services with positive outcomes.Rafat Farzana, present as the state representative, while highlighting the achievements of the National Adolescent Health Program from last year 2014 to 2023, said that this ambitious scheme of the Central Government will help in making the adolescents aware and connecting them to health services. It is a better platform.District Coordinator of the Education Department, Sanjay Tiwari, stressed upon the teenagers to come forward and work together in the field of education and health.Apart from Additional Chief Medical Officer, Hazaribagh, District RCH Officer, Hazaribagh, members of District Program Management Unit, Ms. Tannu Morya, District RKSK Coordinator, Hazaribagh, Medical Officers in-charge of various blocks, Block Program Manager, RKSK BTT, all were present in this program. Friends from the blocks were present.
