Senior poet-storyteller and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Santosh Chaubey has been conferred with Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray Vigyan Samvardhan Samman for his unparalleled contribution in the development of science through science writing and literary activities in Hindi medium.
This award was given by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday at the National Hindi Science Conference 2024 organized by NISPER and CSIR AMPRI. It was underlined in the ceremony that the work done by Santosh Chaubey in the field of science in Hindi language for the upliftment of the society has made it remarkably easy for the people to understand the mysteries of science.
Active for five decades in the field of literature, art, culture, education, technology and skill development, Shri Santosh Chaubey ji has established a distinct identity at the national and international level with his tireless creative efforts.
Santosh Chaubey ji, selected for Indian Engineering Service and Indian Administrative Service, is currently the Director of 'Vishwa Rang' Festival, Rabindranath Tagore University and Dr. C.V. He is the Chancellor of Raman University and the Chairman of ISECT Network, State Resource Centre, Vanmali Srijan Peeth and Tagore International Literature and Arts Centre.It is noteworthy that Santosh Chaubey is continuously active at national and international level through writing as well as various literary and cultural activities for the global dissemination of Hindi literature language. Along with this, he is also making continuous important contributions in the field of science, technology and skill development.
In the last fifty years, he has established a network of more than forty thousand training and service centers across India, which is participating in important schemes like Digital India, Skill India, Startup India besides providing employment to thousands of people.Poet-storyteller, novelist, editor and translator Shri Santosh Chaubey has a unique identity at the global level for his innovative creative projects and innovations.
With the aim of spreading Hindi language and Indian culture, he started the International 'Vishwarang' Festival from Bhopal in the year 2019, which today has more than 50 member countries.
Recently, he was honoured with the prestigious international 'Bharat Gaurav Samman-2024' in France.
Prior to this, he was honoured with "Vatayan UK International Shikhar Samman 2023" in London and 'Life Time Achievement Award-2023' by a prestigious institute of America.Shri Santosh Chaubey has received Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Parishad's Dushyant Kumar Award for poetry (Kahin Aur Sach Honge Sapne), Spandan Alochana Samman for criticism (Kala Ki Sangat), Madhya Pradesh Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti Award for translation (Moscow Diary) and Shailesh Matiyani and International Valley of Words Award for novel (Jaltaranga).
He has received National Dushyant and Shivmangal Singh Suman decorations etc. for overall literary contribution.
