Vikram Singh has been asked to intervene in the matter of cows being found in trucks of Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad has also given an application to the collector regarding the matter.
Cow protectors said that there is a suspicion of cow smuggling. Evidence of this has also been found on the spot, but till now neither the truck has been seized nor an FIR has been registered against anyone. Investigation should be done in the matter and action should be taken soon.
Bajrang Dal Gau Raksha team caught cows in two trucks of the corporation late on Sunday night. Due to this, there was a ruckus in Bilkhiria police station till late night. Cow protectors had warned the police to register an FIR in two days, but even after four days FIR has not been registered in the case. On the other hand, the corporation team is engaged in investigation. Investigation was also done on Thursday.
Cattle were caught in trucks late on Sunday night.
The cow protectors told Collector Singh that the place where the truck was parked was in Adampur Cantonment and it is the place of animal crematorium. Currently, no cow shelter is operating in Bilkhiriya.
