In a remarkable display of spiritual precision, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for Ram Lalla’s idol in Ayodhya is set to unfold in a mere 84 seconds, marking the most auspicious time for this sacred endeavour.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust revealed a detailed schedule for the momentous occasion.

Musical prelude:

The ceremony kicks off at 10 am with the enchanting ‘Mangal Dhvani’, resonating through Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. Over 50 musical instruments from various states will fill the air with celestial melodies, creating an enchanting atmosphere for two hours. Guests are encouraged to enter by 10:30 am to partake in this harmonious prelude.

Guests’ arrival and entry protocols:

Esteemed guests for the consecration ceremony will begin arriving simultaneously, with entry into the Ram Janmabhoomi complex scheduled by 10:30 am. Strict entry regulations are in place, permitting access only through the Trust-issued admit cards. The entry process involves matching the QR code on the admit card, ensuring a secure and organised congregation.

Timing and rituals of Pran Pratishtha:

The pivotal moment of consecration, the Pran Pratishtha, commences at 12:20 pm on January 22. The main puja will unfold in the auspicious Abhijeet Muhurta, meticulously determined by Kashi scholar Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid. This sacred event aligns with a celestial configuration of Dwadashi date of the Paush month, Indra Yoga, Mrigashira Nakshatra, Aries lagna, and Scorpio Navamsha.

Auspicious time window:

The auspicious time window for the Pran Pratishtha spans a mere 84 seconds, symbolising the sanctity and precision of the consecration process – from 12:29 minutes and 8 seconds to 12:30 minutes and 32 seconds.

Participants and dignitaries:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, overseeing the puja rituals, will conduct the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla. Orchestrated by 121 Vedic acharyas under the guidance of renowned Vedic Acharya Ganeshwar Dravid and Acharya Laxmikant Dixit, the ceremony will witness the presence of over 150 saints, religious leaders and representatives from more than 50 diverse traditions.
