A grand blood donation camp was organized today at the RSB Transmission Plant 3 of RSB Global in Gamharia, where employees and vendor partners of the company participated enthusiastically. The primary aim of this camp was to address the shortage of blood in society and to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.
The chief guest of the event, Zonal IG of Police, Akhilesh Jha, motivated the "Blood Warriors" and praised such initiatives. He remarked, “A single blood donation can save up to three lives, and it also benefits the donor’s health.” He highly appreciated the company's efforts in this social cause, calling it a powerful example of community service.
In addition to the blood donation camp, Akhilesh Jha also contributed to environmental protection by planting saplings on the company premises. Present at the occasion were S. K. Behera, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the company, Union Leader Rakeshwar Pandey, Local Police Station Officer Rajeev Singh, Sangeeta Behera, Nalini Behera, Ananya Behera, and several other dignitaries and company officials.
RSB Global regularly fulfills its social responsibilities by organizing various community service activities, including blood donation camps, environmental protection efforts, and other welfare programs. These activities are conducted on a rotational basis across the company's different plants.
During his visit to Gamharia, Akhilesh Jha also engaged with local residents and authorities in Adityapur Industrial Area to discuss law and order issues, addressing their concerns and hearing their grievances.
This successful blood donation camp organized by RSB Global conveyed an important message to society—that blood donation is a noble deed, saving lives while improving one’s own health. Over 525 units of blood were collected during the camp.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA) and the Blood Bank.
