Lokayukta Madhya Pradesh Satendra Singh, former Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, while addressing the prosecution officers on Tuesday, said that the important role of prosecution officers has been incorporated in the new Penal Code.
Prosecution officers are an important link for just redressal, who not only correct the errors left in the investigation but also provide justice to the victims with their wisdom and arguments in the court. It is known that, in the training program of prosecution officers on new criminal law being held at CAPT Bhopal, today on 11/06/2024, Lokayukta Shri Satendra Singh provided his guidance on new laws to the prosecution officers during his dignified presence.
During the said program, Director General / Director Public Prosecution Sushma Singh, while explaining the importance of the new Penal Code, said that the new criminal law has been framed for the benefit of the victims. It also emphasizes on the use of electronic devices in investigation, inquiry and trial and providing speedy justice.
At the beginning of the training program, Lokayukta Madhya Pradesh Shri Satendra Singh, former Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court was welcomed by Director Public Prosecution Sushma Singh and CAPT Director Anil Kishore Yadav and Smt. Sushma Singh presented a book to the Lokayukta and Shri Anil Kishore Yadav presented a memento.In compliance with the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, instructions were given to organize training programs on new law for prosecution officers and judges, in compliance with which Director Public Prosecution Sushma Singh is organizing a training program for all about 700 prosecution officers of the state at CAPT Bhopal between May 28 and June 12.
