Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed the officials to remove encroachments on the land of the poor and take stringent legal action against the guilty, ensuring justice for the victims. He emphasised that land mafia and bullies, who exploit the weak, must not be spared under any circumstances.
“With a zero-tolerance policy, the government is committed to ensuring strict legal action against such offenders and justice for all,” he stated during the Janata Darshan held in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on the Gorakhnath temple premises.
Notably, the chief minister instructed officials to take swift action in cases of land encroachment. He interacted with the public seated in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the temple complex, listening to each individual’s concerns.
He referred their applications to the officials concerned, directing prompt and satisfactory resolutions. Assuring the people that the government is committed to addressing the issues of every victim, he emphasised that everyone would receive justice and their hardships would be alleviated.
People from neighbouring districts also attended the Janata Darshan.
Several women raised concerns about land grabbing by the land mafia and criminals. In response, CM Yogi assured that the land mafia would be given a stern lesson, adding that no one would be allowed to displace the weak or poor as long as he is in power.
He instructed the administration and police officers present to identify those illegally occupying land and take strict legal action against them.
Many people had come to the Janata Darshan with a request for financial assistance for treatment. CM Yogi assured them that the government would provide full help for treatment.
While forwarding their applications to the officers concerned, he instructed them to expedite the process of treatment estimation and make it available to the government.
CM Yogi also directed that Ayushman cards be issued to all eligible individuals to ensure they face no difficulties in accessing treatment. Additionally, the chief minister gifted chocolates to children accompanying some women.
