On the guidance of DSP pithampur Amit Mishra The accused of raping a minor in Sector 1 police station area of industrial city Pithampur was arrested from Jam Nagar in Gujarat.
Police station in-charge Santosh Kumar Dudhi said that about three months ago, the family of the minor had filed a case at the police station that someone had lured their minor girl and taken him away. The police, after a continuous search, found the minor in Indore a few days after she went missing. The minor had told in his statement that Arjun son of Santosh Dhare, aged 24 years, had taken him on the pretext of outing and he raped the minor for several days and fled away leaving him in Indore.
After getting the information from the minor, the police searched for the accused at many places. After getting the location of the accused in Jamnagar from his relatives and other sources, the police team arrested the accused Arjun last evening where the accused is being interrogated. A reward of Rs 5 thousand was also announced by the Superintendent of Police on the same accused Arjun.
