Addressing a press meet, Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), RK Singh said that the first unit of PUVNL will be commissioned on December 24. The first unit will produce 800 MegaWatt electricity, he added.
Singh said during PVUNL Patratu hosted a Press Meet aimed at enhancing its relationship with both local and national media. The event, held at the Subhash Chandra Bose Hall, saw the participation of 30 media representatives from various districts around Jharkhand. The day commenced with an interaction session between the media and PVUNL Management, setting a collaborative tone for the proceedings.
At the very outset, Head of Human Resource Department, Ziaur Rahman officially welcomed the media personnel. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation by Senior Manager, Santosh Kumar Singh which covered crucial aspects of the PVUNL power plant, including CSR initiatives, plant operations, and local development activities.
Besides that presentation highlighted the CD activities taken up PVUNL under the heads of infrastructure, women empowerment training, construction projects, and other community-focused programs.
Thereafter while addressing the media personnel, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PVUNL, RK Singh welcomed the gathering and shared the significance of the project for the state of jharkhand and native development. He also emphasized in his address the importance that PVUNL played in the development of the community.
The media personnel explained how the upcoming power plant will boost the economic and social growth of the region. This was followed by open interaction with the media person, where CEO PVUNL answered the questions related to Plant construction, CD outreach, Ash Dying Management, Ash Utilization, Employment Generation and others.
The event featured a Q and A session, offering journalists the opportunity to engage with key officials, including CEO RK Singh, GM (O&M), Devdeep Bose, GM (Projects), Anupam Mukherjee, GM (C&T), Rabindra Patel, GM (Mining), Krovvidi Chandrashekar and CMO, Dr Sanjay Kumar among other Heads of Departments.
In his closing remarks, expressed gratitude to the journalists for their continued support in showcasing PVUNL Patratu’s positive contributions to the local community.
