International Prohibition Day was celebrated on Tuesday on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, under the joint aegis of Indore District Administration and Social Justice Department.
On this occasion, Vikas Tyagi, President of Vikas Vishwa Kalyan Samridhi Sanstha, which is dedicated to social welfare and provides information about the ill effects of drugs to students, youth and citizens, along with other workers of the organization, visited the CM Rise Government Model Higher Secondary School, Mhowgaon, located in Mhow tehsil of Indore district.
The students who were present in the school were given information about the dire consequences of drug addiction, physical harm, mental health harm, economic harm, social harm and the future being in darkness due to habit of Intoxication.
During the program, Vikas Tyagi also highlighted about the SAY No To Intoxication YouTube channel which is started by him and is first you tube channel of the country spreading awarness against intoxication to students youth and parents.
This you tube channel also provide information to the students in which senior police officers, senior administrative officers, academicians have appealed to the students not to consume drugs through a short film and have given guidance on how students can protect themselves from drugs.
The program ended with a collective oath not to consume drugs. On this occasion, school principal Manoj Sohni, teachers Vivek Jain, Harendra Singh Tomar, Anil Ahirwar, Yogendra Pawar, Mukhtar Ahmed, Anmol Upadhyay, Gajesh Kumar, Pooja Patidar, Aradhana Rajnekar Smriti Ganguly, Anjana Singh Thakur, Shweta Sondattikar, Shruti Sharma. Deepa Vaishnav, Bharti Verma, Chanchala Gawde and Chandrashekhar Chaturvedi were present.
