Police sub-inspector mowed down on Biaora-Dewas Highway

Two policemen including a female constable mowed down a sub-inspector posted in Rajgarh reserve police line was mowed down by car near Funda Market on Biaora-Dewas highway on a bike on Tuesday afternoon.

The car belonged to Pallavi Solanki, a female constable of Pachor police station. After the incident, Pallavi and her partner Karan Thakur reached the rural police station. According to sources, both of them confessed killing  the SI.

SP Aditya Mishra interrogated the female constable in the SDOP office till late night.

On Wednesday morning, rural police station in-charge Govind Meena said, 'Both the accused have accepted the charge of killing the SI. They said that the SI was coming between our love. At present, the case has been registered and further investigation is being done.'

According to the police, SI Deepankar Gautam was going towards the rural police station on the Biaora-Dewas highway on a bike on Tuesday afternoon. Pallavi's car hit the bike from behind in front of the petrol pump in Funda Market.

According to eyewitnesses, the SI jumped and fell on the road rolling on the bonnet and front glass of the car. After this, the car dragged the SI for about 30 meters. He suffered injuries on his head, left knee and other parts of the body.

After committing the crime, Pallavi and Karan went straight to the rural police station and informed the police. Meanwhile, the shopkeepers present on the spot took the injured SI to the civil hospital in an ambulance.

Dehat police station in-charge Govind Meena, City TI Virendra Dhakad and other police officers reached the hospital. SI Gautam was referred to Bhopal by Dr. Sandeep Narayane after primary treatment. On the way, the SI vomited blood near Shyampur and died. Fellow policemen took the body to Bhopal's Chirayu Hospital for postmortem.

According to sources, Pallavi and Karan are having an affair. A few days ago, Karan shot Pallavi in a fight. The bullet passed near her neck. He also shot himself but he also survived. Both of them stayed apart for some time, then got together. Meanwhile, Pallavi's friendship with Deepankar deepened.

On Tuesday, both of them called Deepankar to meet them. Deepankar had a suspicion, so he also called his SI friend Subhash. He said that these two will kill me. Fellow SI arrived but by then Pallavi and Karan had hit the bike.

A few days ago, Karan shot Pallavi in a fight. After this, Pallavi became friends with Deepankar.

SI Deepankar Gautam, a resident of Karaira town in Shivpuri district, was posted at the City Police Station, when he was put on the line. Investigation is also going on in this complaint of demanding bribe. SI Gautam has gone to jail in a rape case. However, he returned to the police service after being acquitted by the court.

Deepankar had passed 12th from ITBP Kendriya Vidyalaya, Karaira. Later, he studied BA and also prepared for the exam from Karaira. He was recruited as SI in 2012. Earlier, he got the appointment of a teacher in class three, but he did not join. After this, he was recruited as a constable in CISF but left the training midway and returned.

Deepankar's father DL Gautam is retired from the post of post master. There are three brothers and one sister in the family. Deepankar was the youngest. Elder brother Ashok Gautam is posted as GST commissioner in Indore. Middle brother Sanjay Gautam lives in Karaira. Sister Alpana Gautam is a teacher. All are married.

Deepankar Gautam had a love marriage with Poonam, a resident of Karaira, two and a half years ago. Poonam is currently a government teacher in Talbehat, UP.
