Police solve theft cases, recover gold ornaments

To curb crime and incidents of theft in Indore city, Police Commissioner Indore Rakesh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-1 Indore Vinod Kumar Meena, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-1 Alok Sharma and ACP Gandhinagar Rubina Minjwani have given instructions to take effective action regarding arrest of suspects and miscreants involved in theft crimes.

In line with the above instructions, Police Station Rajendra Nagar  incharge Siyaram Singh Gurjar was instructed he formed a team to arrest the accused who committed theft incidents. In this connection, the police team of Rajendra Nagar Police Station was searching for the suspects of theft incidents in the police station area.

Complainant Durgesh father Prayag Singh Bhadauriya resident Kundan Nagar has lodged a case under Section 457, 380 IPC at Rajendra Nagar police station on 17-6-2024 and investigation has been taken up.

While searching for the unknown accused in the above crime, the police team of Rajendra Nagar police station received reliable information that a boy who lives in Digvijay Multi, who has committed theft in a house in Kundan Nagar three-four days ago, is trying to sell the stolen gold and silver jewellery.

This boy has been committing petty thefts since long and has also been caught in Dwarkapuri and Annapurna. The informer described the appearance of the boy. On the basis of the informer's information, a team formed by the police station in-charge police station Rajendra Nagar in Civil searched for the boy of the village told by the informer.

During this, a boy of 15-16 years of age was seen near Digvijay Multi, who was stopped and questioned by the team. At first he started making excuses but then he took out gold and silver ornaments from his jeans pocket and presented them.

During interrogation on the spot, he told that I live with my grandmother, my mother lives in Devguradia. I had committed theft in a house in Kandan Nagar three-four days ago at night from where I had stolen gold and silver ornaments and mobile. During interrogation, the boy told that I had committed theft earlier also. Then I was sent to Bachcha Jail from Dwarkapuri Police Station and told that I had stolen garlic, onion and mobile in the market earlier also.

Gold jewellery including a gold mangalsutra, earrings, gold rings, gold chain, silver anklets and a Redmi mobile were seized from the delinquent boy on the spot.
