As part of an ongoing anti-crime campaign, Jamshedpur Police made a significant breakthrough by apprehending two individuals in possession of illegal firearms. The arrest took place near Moharda Basti, close to Nirmal Store, under the jurisdiction of Birsa Nagar Police Station.

The police operation, aimed at curbing the rising instances of crime in the city, resulted in the confiscation of two country-made pistols, four live bullets, three mobile phones, and a Hyundai i10 car.

According to the authorities, the suspects were intercepted during a routine vehicle check. Their suspicious behavior prompted the officers to conduct a thorough search, which led to the discovery of the illicit items. The arrested individuals were immediately taken into custody and later transferred to judicial custody.

The Jamshedpur Police have intensified their efforts to tackle illegal activities and ensure the safety of the residents. The police spokesperson emphasized that the campaign will continue to be rigorously enforced across the city to prevent the proliferation of illegal weapons and other criminal activities.
