Entire mock drill was conducted by Madhya Pradesh police which was aimed at continous fire safety training to police officers and employees. In view of the past fire accidents in various government offices of the state, special vigil is required.
On Saturday morning, security personnel were given training to control fire while keeping themselves safe at the State Police Headquarters.
In the training related to fire control, a mock drill of extinguishing fire with modern equipment was also conducted. During the mock drill, police personnel received training on how to easily extinguish the fire in liquid substances using fire extinguishers. Security personnel received training to extinguish fire in buildings, houses, warehouses etc. by avoiding smoke and flames. Prominently present in the mock drill were DSP (Security) Police Headquarters Nadeem Ullah Khan, Security Incharge of Police Headquarters Mukesh Saini, Inspector Mohanlal Mehra and ASI Santosh Dubey of Police Fire Station Mantralaya, Bhopal and his team.
During the mock drill, information was given to the police officers and employees about the modern equipments used in extinguishing fires.
During the training, SI Santosh Dubey told that there are five types of fires, the method of extinguishing which is also different. He said that these have been placed in the category from A to E.
