Ranchi police raided Hotel Maurya under the leadership of DySP, PK Mishra on Sunday, three persons including two girls were arrested from here. One of the girls arrested in the raid is from Hajipur in Bihar while the other is from Bengal.
Hatia DySP, PK Mishra said that on the information of prostitution, a raid was conducted in Hotel Maurya. In which two girls and a boy were caught in objectionable condition. Some people managed to escape.
On the basis of information, a raid was also conducted in a spa center. However, nothing objectionable was found there. The police had received information that prostitution was going on in the spa center as well.
Action against the sex racket in Ranchi is continuing on the instructions of SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha. Let us tell you that in the last few months, Ranchi police is continuously conducting raids against the sex racket going on in Ranchi. Many people have also been arrested. Earlier, foreign girls were also made to do immoral work in the spa center. Ranchi police has taken action against them.
During the raids in the last one month, Ranchi police has arrested 36 people including more than 25 girls. Investigation has revealed that some hoteliers of the capital are promoting the business of prostitution. Such hotel operators are now on the radar of Ranchi police.
